AT THE CORE
Mentoring, wellbeing & mental fortitude.
Three ways we support the person behind the player, on and off the pitch.
01 — RESILIENCE
Performance mindset & resilience
Guiding players through injury, loss of form, time out of the side and high-pressure transfer windows.
02 — CONFIDENTIAL
Confidential player sounding board
An objective, safe space outside the club ecosystem to work through frustration, stress and career anxiety.
03 — TRANSITION
Transition & lifestyle adaptation
Supporting players and their families through moves to new cities, new countries and the culture of a foreign league.
WHAT WE WORK THROUGH
Room to think, away from the noise.
Six areas we are most often asked to help with.
Pressure & expectation
Making sense of the weight of performance, selection and public scrutiny.
Transition
Release, relocation, a new club or the end of playing: the changes that unsettle everything.
Identity beyond the game
Building a sense of self that does not rise and fall with the last result.
Setbacks & confidence
Working through injury, deselection and difficult seasons without losing direction.
Family around the career
Space for parents and partners to talk through their own role and boundaries.
Clarity before decisions
Separating emotion from evidence when an important choice is close.
WAYS TO ENGAGE
Private, and paced to the person.
Sessions are arranged around training and travel.

A one-off conversation when something needs talking through now.

Kept separate from any commercial conversation
Referral to clinical or medical specialists where needed
HOW WE WORK
Considered, and selective.
Every engagement follows the same four stages.
01
Conversation
A private first meeting to understand the person, the family and the moment.
02
Assessment
We map where things stand: sporting, personal, commercial.
03
Plan
A written plan with clear priorities, owners and review points.
04
Accompaniment
We stay alongside as the plan meets real life, adjusting as the career moves.
PLEASE NOTE
Our mentoring and wellbeing support helps with wellbeing and decision-making around a career. It is not counselling or therapy, and not a crisis or clinical service. If you or someone close to you needs urgent help, contact your GP, NHS 111 or the emergency services.
A CLEAR BOUNDARY
CM-TM does not negotiate playing contracts or transfers. Our work sits beside those decisions, never inside them.
